Psalm 82 to John 10:34

If you read Ps 82:6 you will see where Jesus quotes the Word of God namely Himself in saying
"Since I said you were Gods with the Word ... and that you would die......

Psa 82:1 GOD stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the godsPsa 82:2 How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked?SelahPsa 82:3 Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy.Psa 82:4 Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked.Psa 82:5 They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are unstable.Psa 82:6 I said, "You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.Psa 82:7 But you shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes."Psa 82:8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; For You shall inherit all nations.
